Technical description
Cavitation nozzles are automatic valves which operate with 100 % reliability. They substitute for the function of the control valve and are used for short-term reduction of the flow in the piping so that the allowed flow rate to the steam generator is not exceeded. Their design is based on the formation of cavitation (release and re-absorption of gaseous bubbles) which goes on until the valve pressure gradient is reduced. MATERIAL SPECIFICATION
Cavitation nozzles are made from carbon and stainless steel. The material type can be adjusted according to the customer´s request to optimally suit the operating conditions.
